Moving, protecting, and checking things off
Dragging blocks, the long-press menu, what protection means, and which categories a twist can move.
Moving something
Press and drag a block. It snaps to five minute steps, a terracotta time badge follows your finger so you can see where it will land, and the timeline scrolls on its own if you drag past the edge. Your phone gives a small tap when it lands.
Drag a calendar appointment and it will not move. You get a short buzz instead, because plottwist does not change your calendar.
Checking something off
Tap the circle on the left of a block. That is also the moment its drops are spent: planning a heavy day does not empty your Cup, finishing it does.
Completing a Me time task does the opposite and puts a drop back in your Cup, whatever its energy setting says.
Protecting something
Long-press a block and choose Protect, or use the switch in the Edit task sheet. A protected task will not be moved by a Plot Twist. Anything that came in from your calendar arrives protected already.
What a category protects, even without the switch
- Locked. Work, anything protected, anything already done, and anything from your calendar. A twist will not touch these.
- Anchors. Kids, Meal, and Routine. A twist works around them rather than pushing them off the day.
- Flexible. Errand, Admin, Me time, Fitness, and Event. These are what a twist offers to move.
Work is the only category that renders as one plain grey block. That is deliberate: the job gets one bar, and the rest of the day is yours.
Sending something to another day
Long-press a block and choose Move to Another Day, or use the same button in the Edit task sheet. It goes to the Shelf, where nothing is late.
