Why plottwist

The planner that starts where your day breaks.

The Plot Twist button

Sick kid? Late pickup? One tap rebuilds your day.

Every other planner falls apart the moment your day does. plottwist starts there. Tell it what happened, confirm what's protected, and watch your schedule redeal itself around what actually matters.

“The day bent. It didn't break.”

Every morning starts a fresh chat.Plan by energy, not just time.Nothing turns red.See the invisible work.
Junie, your daily sidekick

Every morning starts a fresh chat.

Brain-dump by voice while the toast is burning. Dictation runs on your iPhone, so what you say never leaves it. Junie catches every task, schedules it around school runs and your locked work hours, and checks in gently on the hours you choose.

Out of your head, onto the plan.

The Cup

Plan by energy, not just time.

You had 6 free hours yesterday and still couldn't face the Costco run. That's not laziness. That's an empty cup. Every task costs drops, rest refills them, and plottwist speaks up before you overdraw.

You can't pour from an empty cup. Now your planner knows it too.

The Shelf

Nothing turns red.

What you can't get to waits on the Shelf, guilt-free, until you have the energy for it. No overdue stamps, no angry badges, no list of everything you failed at this week.

Nothing here is late. It's just waiting.

The Ledger

See the invisible work.

The appointments booked, the forms signed, the mental tabs nobody else sees. plottwist counts the load you carry and hands you a card at the end of the week that says what you already knew.

Proof of the work that never made anyone's list.

Work gets one gray block. You get the rest.

plottwist is the first planner that grays out your job and plans your actual life: the 5-to-9s, the school runs, the you-time you keep giving away.

“plottwist started at a cafe table in San Antonio, at a build day for women on International Women's Day. I wasn't looking for another productivity app. I was looking for a way to get through Tuesday. Every planner I tried was built for someone whose day goes to plan. Mine never does. So we're building the one that doesn't fall apart when I do.”

Questions moms ask us

What is plottwist?

A daily planner for moms that plans around your energy, not just your hours. Tell Junie your day in your own words, she shapes it around your locked hours, and when it falls apart one tap rebuilds it. Nothing ever turns red.

Does it touch my calendar?

Never. plottwist reads your appointments onto your day and never writes back to your calendar.

Where does my day live?

On your iPhone. We don't sell your data, and your plan stays yours.

Is my voice recorded or uploaded?

No. Dictation runs on your iPhone using Apple's on-device speech, so nothing you say is sent to us or to anyone else. The mic closes itself when you stop talking.

Is there a home screen widget?

Yes. It shows what's coming up next and how many drops you have left, so you can glance at your day without opening the app. Tap it to jump straight in.

What if my day starts at 5am?

Set your own check-in window in Settings. Junie stays quiet outside it, whether your day starts at 5am or ends at midnight.

What does it cost?

A 7-day free trial, then $8.99/month or $59.99/year. No stripped-down free tier, just the whole app.

Is it really built by a mom?

Yes. plottwist started with one mom at a cafe table in San Antonio, trying to hold a whole family's day in her head. She built the first version herself at a build day for women on International Women's Day. When it grew past what one weekend could hold, she brought her husband in to help build it, and they have been at it together ever since. She decides what plottwist should do; he writes the code that does it.
