The Shelf, and why nothing turns red
Five ways something gets shelved, what the badge means, and what the app does instead of an overdue state.
The tab is called Shelf and the screen it opens is called Another Day. It holds everything you could not get to. The number on the tab is a count, not a warning.
Five ways something gets there
- Open a task and tap Move to Another Day.
- Long-press a block on the timeline and choose Move to Another Day.
- Choose Park on Another Day when you approve a Plot Twist.
- Ask Junie to move it to another day.
- Answer Another day on one of Junie's check-ins.
There is no overdue
This is the part people do not believe until they see it. A shelved card tells you one thing: how long it has been waiting. Parked today, Parked 3 days, Parked 2 weeks. Nothing counts up in red, nothing is bold, and nothing on any other screen is tallying it against you.
The screen says so out loud, twice: nothing here is late, it is just waiting, and no overdue, no guilt, they will be here when you have the drops.
The empty state is Nothing waiting, which is a fine thing to see and not a target to chase.
