Bringing something back, or letting it go
Plan it in, the three ways to pick a day, and what happens when you let something go.
Bringing something back
Every card on the Shelf has a Plan it in button. It opens a sheet that asks when you can get to it, with three answers: Today, Tomorrow, and Pick a day, which opens a calendar from today onwards.
Then tap the button that names the day, such as Put it on Friday. If the task had a time of day before it was shelved it keeps that time. If it did not, it comes back untimed, into Anytime today.
Letting something go
Sometimes the honest answer is that it is not happening. Tap the ... on the card and choose Let it go. You get one confirmation, with Let it go and Keep it.
It is not deleted. It moves to Settings > Organizing > Hidden events, where every row has a Show again button that puts it back on your Shelf. Nothing in plottwist is thrown away without a way back.
