Logging a refill, and what happens when a day asks for too much
The five refill options, how to remove one, and exactly what plottwist does when the plan costs more than you have.
Logging a refill
Tap Log a refill on the Cup screen. There are five options and they are fixed on purpose, so it is one tap and not a form:
- A moment to breathe
- +1 drop
- Coffee, sitting down
- +1 drop
- A walk outside
- +1 drop
- Someone else took it on
- +2 drops
- A real break
- +2 drops
Tap a refill you already logged to change it, or to choose Remove refill.
Completing a Me time task counts as a refill too, without you logging anything.
When the day asks for more than you have
plottwist does not block you and it does not scold you. It tells you, once, and leaves the decision with you.
The note on the Cup screen will say something along the lines of: today asks for 9 drops and you have 5, which is 4 more than fits, so something will have to give, and a Plot Twist can pick. The cup bar inside the Plot Twist sheet turns deep terracotta for the same reason.
That is the whole of it. There is no alert, no blocked action, and nothing turns red. Your drops left stops at zero rather than going negative, so an overdrawn day does not follow you around as a debt.
