Managing or cancelling your membership
Where the subscription lives, how to cancel in the trial, and how to restore it on a new iPhone.
Cancelling
- On your iPhone, open Settings.
- Tap your name at the very top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap plottwist, then Cancel Subscription. You can also switch between monthly and annual here.
The same screen is one tap away inside the app: Settings > plottwist membership > Manage subscription.
Cancelling during the free trial
Cancel at any point in the 7 days and you are not charged. Apple's own guidance is to cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, because the renewal is processed slightly ahead of the deadline.
We cannot cancel it for you
Only Apple can, because Apple takes the payment. If you email us asking to cancel, the honest answer we will send back is this page. It is not us being unhelpful, it is that we genuinely have no button for it.
A new iPhone, or a reinstall
Go to Settings > plottwist membership > Restore purchases. Signing in with Apple using the same Apple Account is what keeps your membership attached to you rather than to a handset.
