Meeting Junie

Where she lives, how to talk to her, why the chat starts fresh every morning, and how she confirms things.

Junie is the assistant in the middle tab. She is an AI, she will tell you so if you ask, and her job is to take what is in your head and turn it into a day.

How to talk to her

Type into the box at the bottom. The placeholder says Brain-dump whatever's rattling around, and that is meant literally. All of it at once is fine: dentist at 10, Ellie needs a costume by Friday, call the insurance people, and twenty minutes to myself somewhere.

You can type to Junie, or tap the mic button beside the message box and just say it. Speech is transcribed entirely on your iPhone and never sent anywhere, and the words appear in the box as you talk so you can tidy them before sending. If the mic reports that it cannot hear you, see the microphone is not picking anything up.

Plan my day

The wand button just above the box reads your day back and slots anything untimed into the open hours between 8am and 9pm. It is the fastest way to turn a brain-dump into a timeline.

A fresh page every morning

The chat shows today only. Junie opens the day herself with a greeting that fits the hour, then asks how your energy is with a five dot card that sets your Cup for the day.

Yesterday is not gone. The ... menu at the top right has Past days, which is read-only. The same menu has Share today's chat with us, which is how you send us a conversation that went wrong.

She proposes, the app decides

Junie never quietly changes your plan.

• A request that could match several tasks gets a question back rather than a guess.
• A bulk delete shows you the exact list first, under a heading like Remove these 3?, with Remove them and Keep.
• A day she has drafted arrives as a card with Looks good and Edit.
