Deleting your data

The exact steps, everything that gets removed, and the one thing deletion does not do.

Go to Settings and scroll to the bottom. The button is Delete my data.

1. Read the sheet. If you want a copy of anything, tap Download a copy first now. See getting a copy of your data.
2. Type the phrase delete my data in the box. Until you do, the button stays inactive.
3. Tap Delete everything.
4. Confirm with Face ID or your passcode. (If your iPhone has neither set up, this step is skipped.)

What gets removed

• Your days, Cup, Ledger, and Shelf, from this iPhone and from your iCloud.
• The record on our side that links your Apple sign-in to your membership. It is all we hold about you, and there is no separate plottwist account or password to close.
• Your Sign in with Apple token, which we revoke with Apple.
• Any Junie feedback you sent us.
• Your Junie consent, your calendar sync setting, and your hidden events list.

The app returns to the state it was in before you first opened it. This cannot be undone, which is why it asks three times.
